Non-Human Primates

Welcome to the KIR-NHP database, a specialist database for the Killer-cell Immunoglobulin-like Receptors of Non-Human Primates. The database includes currently chimpanzee, orangutan and rhesus macaque KIR sequences, and is subject to quality control. Incorporated in the database are currently known and annotated KIR sequences. For macaque KIR currently only full-length sequences are accepted for annotation.

Nomenclature

For allele designation the database uses the 2010 nomenclature rules described by the WHO Nomenclature Committee for Factors of the HLA System.
